Selling a house is a detailed, emotional, and often complex process. Some have described it as an “adventure”. Having someone that can skillfully walk with you through that process is both a stress reliever and a confidence builder.
It starts with listening to any specific seller’s needs, reviewing a detailed market and comparable sales analysis, then collaborating on the best next steps to prepare the home for sale. From these exercises, a list price is established. Finally, a marketing strategy is developed based on the unique features of the property and potential target audience.
Next comes two of the most important and overlooked parts of a real estate transaction. First is the ability to work carefully with and not against the buyer’s agent once a contract has been presented. And second, is explaining the details and contingencies of the offer and then recommending sound negotiating strategies, as needed, to my seller.
